Jacksonville Inn in Jacksonville Oregon

I'm spending the weekend in Jacksonville, OR.  It is in the south part of OR - about 10 miles off of I-5 and the Medford exits.  We are staying at the Jacksonville Inn.  Wifi is part of the deal here.  Last night we enjoyed a winemakers dinner and the theme of it was mushrooms ie every course had some exotic types of mushrooms with it.  They matched up local wines with each course....everyone in the room (about 50+) was smashed at the end of it.  Kinda funny seeing all these oldies get into it - we were the youngest folks there.

In January 2007 they will be having Penfold's (yes - the Aussie one) winemakers dinner - wanna go Chris/Darcy?

That sounds downright great. Jacksonville is a cool place to visit. My wife and I stayed in a rather scary B&B lasat time we were in town there but they made up for the strange hotel with a great bicycle built for two ... we had a blast taking that out for a ride :)
